Institute contains 22 departments which includes 33 laboratories. 5 departments (d. of isotopic research, d. of physical methods of research, d. of electron microscopy, d. of chromatographical analysis and d. of scientific information) provide not only own research but also provide service support of studies of other divisions. In the PCB institute studies are proceeded in 6 mean scientific areas: I. Biology of the cell and cellular organella. II. Bioenergetics, photosynthesis. III Math models in biology. IV. Molecular virology. V. Structure, expression and evolution of the genom. VI. Enzymology and biotechnology. For 40 years fellows of the PCB Institute had obtained numerous research results which make a large contribution to experimental and theoretical physico-chemical biology. You can meet with main results viewing pages of particular divisions (visit Belozersky Institute Structure page). |
